POV Syncer ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect, upload, or transmit your photos or videos
  • We do not collect your location data
  • We do not collect personal identifiers
  • We do not sell any user data

Data Processed on Your Device

The following data is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it:

  • Photos and videos you import into the app for editing
  • EXIF metadata (timestamps, camera settings) used for photo matching
  • Project files saved locally on your device

Data Processed with Third Parties

  • AI Voice Narration: When you use AI narration, your narration text is sent to a speech synthesis service to generate audio. No personal data is included.
  • Subscription Management: In-app purchases are managed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles all payment processing. We do not see or store your payment information.
  • Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage analytics (feature usage, crash reports) through Apple's built-in analytics. This data cannot identify you personally.

Photo Library Access

POV Syncer requests access to your Photo Library to import photos and videos for editing. This access is used solely for the app's core functionality. We use security-scoped bookmarks to maintain access to media you've selected, and this access is revocable at any time in iOS Settings.

Data Storage

All project data, imported media references, and app settings are stored locally on your device in the app's sandboxed container. We do not use cloud storage or external servers for your content.

Children's Privacy

POV Syncer does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to request deletion of. You can remove all app data by deleting the app from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
